When I bought my home in Tryon, NC, I immediately became friends with my realtor, Gary.
Gary owns a large, rock house named Mill Farm Inn, which he had registered a few years back on The National Register Of Historic Places. I won't get in to the history of this property here, but it is very interesting. It would be worth your time to look it up & read about it!

Each Wednesday evening, around 8:30 p.m., Gary hosts an evening of cigar smoking & wine sipping in a giant, screened-in gazebo on the property. It sits just above the Pacolet River, which runs through Columbus, Tryon, & Saluda, NC.
He invites people that he has met over the years, and people he's sold homes to. Most are from all over the country, only a few of us being from nearby towns here in the region originally. That is what makes Tryon, NC so eclectic; the people. They are from so many different states in North America, and are all very interesting people!
The fellowship & regale that we share, all being virtual strangers, leaves us all with a calm feeling and a sense that we are building a comradery for friendship that may last a lifetime.
If you ever find yourself in the Tryon area on a Wednesday evening, why not give me a call? You just might earn yourself an invite to Cigar night, as my guest, and you could make some new friends in the process!
